Edwardian Roll Top Desk
This was a big job. The whole desk and all its drawers needed to be dismantled and re-glued, which I didn’t show in the photos. The tambour door also needed to be re-glued in a press and then the missing components were replaced. I stripped of the old stained finish, to expose its natural colour; then I applied several coats of oil to finish.
