Alcove Units
I was asked to make 2 alcove units that would house a TV, digi-boxes and games consoles as well as storage for DVDs, CDs and books etc. They had an arched window in the room and wanted that arch replicating on the top rails of the alcoves. They were also to be painted white inside and out. I used Birch ply for the shelves (for strength and stability), pine for the door frames and MDF for the top surface. They have been built to last.
