Solid Oak Office Suite

The customers had asked a local bespoke kitchen maker to design their office, but weren’t happy with the final designs, which looked like a load of kitchen units crammed in to a small space. So they approached me.  I asked them if they would like their office to be designed in the Ercol Windsor style, which I had noticed they had elsewhere in their house. They liked the idea and, when I came back with the drawings, they also liked the curved lines of the cupboard corners and desk top, which allowed for smother appearance and better flow in a small space. The oak was finished with oil.

The curved cupboards feature tambour doors where the doors slide out of sight when opened.
